This double-handed cable exercise builds on the single-arm arc work by introducing a diagonal pulling pattern across the body. Standing side-on to a low cable pulley, both hands hold the handle and draw the cable diagonally upwards and across, allowing the trunk and shoulders to rotate naturally while keeping the pelvis stable.
The movement is performed slowly and with control in both directions, resisting the pull of the cable on the return. It is a good exercise for developing shoulder strength and rotational control together.
This exercise has been recommended by the clinical team at London Bridge Sports Medicine as part of a structured rehabilitation plan. Always perform it as directed by your clinician.
